More and more people are moving nowadays; they move to other countries to work, to study, many people use the possibility to work remotely. Problem arises when in the new country we need to rent a flat, open a bank account or deal with public administration.
MeeTheLocal is a Social App that helps non-locals meet with locals who help with daily life problems such as: administration, opening bank account, buying monthly ticket for public transport, help filling in some paperwork etc. Everyone can be a helper, and everyone can get help.
Many people search for such help on Facebook groups, CouchSurfing or dating apps. None of these platforms is made to provide such service: you cannot rate the helper, it is not common to offer money for help, you feel like you depend on the good will of other people. MeeTheLocal is the platform where you can be sure that you will find help that youre looking for.
Additionally we create a map of services such as car mechanic, hairdresser or gym trainer who speak foreign languages.
